Students are covered by a health insurance policy which is partially paid for by WSU. Spouses and children of students are also eligible for coverage. The health insurance policy provides coverage for hospital, surgical, consultant and incidental fees. Students are also encouraged to utilize the facilities of the University Health Service, located in the modern University Clinics Building, for injections, chest x-rays and other minor health services. For more extensive medical treatment, the outstanding services of The Detroit Medical Center associated with WSU's Medical School are close at hand.
